Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another edition of Artist Spotlight. Tonight's edition features the talented designer from France, Maylis de Lacoste Lareymondie. Maylis's shoes and boots are custom made. She describes her shoes as "fun" and "funky" at the same time. She creates "luxury loafers." When Maylis is asked about her collection and what "The House of Lareymondie" is, and what it represents, Maylis describes The House of Lareymondie as follows:
"The House of Lareymondie is the vision, creation and passion of Maylis De Lacoste Lareymondie. It represents a new kind of elegance—contemporary couture that builds on craftsmanship refined over centuries, incorporating the finest leathers to create heirlooms that last a lifetime and beyond. The family name belongs to an aristocratic bloodline that can be traced back at least 700 years, when Count Raymond of Toulouse began distributing Raymondies (or lands) in return for loyal services. Another ancestor, Bertrand, officially became Lord of Lareymondie in the 16th century, and the name and brand have been associated ever since with elegance and tradition."
If you look at the following photograph, you will see an image of the shoes that have put Maylis on the fashion map. Her collection can be worn with almost anything including lingerie. Tonight, all of the models are wearing "Chez" lingerie and shoes by Lareymondie. If you are looking for something that is different, stylish, unique, attractive and affordable, look no further, you have found what you were looking for.
